The Centre today informed Lok Sabha that more than six lakh five thousand villages in the country have mobile connectivity.<br />''        <br />'' In a written reply to a question, Minister of State for Communications, Devusinh Chauhan informed that Telecom Service Providers (TSP), the Department of Telecom and State governments are taking various efforts to provide telecom connectivity in the uncovered villages in the country in a phased manner.<br />''  <br />'' The Minister also said, to increase mobile connectivity in the country, the Government is implementing various schemes through Universal Service Obligation Fund.<br />''
