Over 58% voting recorded in Jharkhand amidst sporadic violence

Over 58 per cent voting was recorded in the fifth and final phase of assembly elections in Jharkhand.<br/><br/>Two security persons died on poll duty when Maoists triggered separate land mine blasts in Palamu and West Singhbhum districts, besides indulging in a sporadic incidents of violence.<br/><br/>In this round, 16 seats went to polling spread over seven districts thus completing the electoral process for 81 seats in the state.<br/><br/>Counting of votes will take place on the 23rd of this month.
