In West Bengal, Over 55 per cent voting was recorded till 1 pm in the third phase of Assembly polls in 75 seats covering Kolkata, North and South 24 Parganas districts. The first five hours of polling has been peaceful. State Electoral Officer, Mr. Sunil Gupta said that no major untoward incident has been reported so far. Seventy three Electronic Voting Machines have been replaced from polling booths due to technical snag.
