In Utter Pradesh, above 51 percent polling has taken place on Wednesday for fourth and last phase of three tier local body polls. Maximum above 65 percent polling was recorded at Ambedkar Nagar while minimum about 46 percent was reported from Chitrakoot.Quoting the State Election Commission our Allahabad correspondent reports that in Jhansi Municipal Corporation about 52 percent electorates have exercised their franchise while about 45 percent votes were cast in Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation.Voting was started from 7 in the morning and it was continued to 6 in the evening. In Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Mahoba and Sonebhadra districts voting was started from 0630 in the morning and concluded at 1730 in the evening due to security reasons.Counting of votes for all four phases of elections will be held on July 7.
