Over 50,000 people availed benefits under Ayushman Bharat: J P Nadda

Health Minister JP Nadda has said that over 50,000 people have availed of services under Ayushman Bharat, a National Health Protection Scheme, since its launch on 23rd September this year. <br />''<br />'' He was speaking at the inauguration of  '2nd World Conference on Access to Medical Products: Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 in New Delhi today. Mr Nadda said, the government is working towards providing highest possible standards of health care to the citizens.  The Health Minister said, Universal health coverage is key to the SDGs 2030 agenda to which India is firmly committed.<br />''<br />'' Mr Nadda stated that India is actively contributing to the South-East Asia Regulatory Network to guarantee access to high-quality medical products.<br />''<br />'' Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwini Kumar Choubey highlighted the importance of traditional medical system in achieving the health goals. <br />'' <br />
