Over 50 per cent voting has been recorded in the 5th and final phase of assembly elections in Jharkhand. 16 seats went to the polls in this round in the 5 phased elections, which concluded today. <br/><br/>AIR Correspondents report that polling was brisk in rural areas in comparison to urban localities. Around 75,000 security personnel and 10 choppers were presed into service to ensure peaceful polls as most of the places were maoist hit areas. A policeman is reported to be killed in a landmine blast and three others injured. A couple of minor incidents were also reported from Palamu and Chatra. <br/><br/>Counting of votes will take place on the 23rd of this month. <br/>
