Over 50 people killed in North India reeling under intense heat wave

With North India reeling under intense heat wave, the temperature in Delhi is all set to breach 42 degree mark today. <br/><br/>According to Weather office the temperature is likely to hover around 43 degree celsius. <br/><br/>Delhi recorded over 41 degree temperature since last three days. <br/><br/>Today the maximum temperature recorded is 41.6 which is highest of the season so far. <br/><br/>In Uttar Pradesh, the normal daily life continues to be disrupted due to intense heat. <br/><br/>Hot wind is blowing across the state. <br/><br/>The day’s maximum temperature has been recorded above 41 degrees Celsius. <br/><br/>More than 50 people have died across the state due the fire incidents in rural areas during past one week. <br/><br/>AIR Gorakhpur correspondent reports that incident of fire has increased in rural areas as the produce of wheat and other crops are still in the fields. <br/><br/>In Chhattisgarh, three children died due to intense heat wave in the Korba district during the last three days. <br/><br/>Mr. P.R.Kumbhker, Chief Medical Officer Dr. P.R.Kumbhker told AIR News today that prima facie the children are feared to have died of loo. <br/><br/>He said that medical camps have been set up in the affected villages. <br/><br/>The weather conditions are getting increasingly harsh in Madhya Pradesh.<br/>
