In Democratic Republic of Congo, more than 50 people have been killed in clashes between protesters and security forces in capital Kinshasa. <br/><br/>The protesters were demanding the resignation of President Joseph Kabila who has ruled the country since 2001.<br/><br/>The Interior Ministry said, the violence was an attempted uprising and the victims included three police officers.
