Union rural development ministry said that it has provided skill training to over five lakh rural youths under its flagship skilling and placement initiative Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana in last three years. <br/><br/>According to an official statement, the scheme offers industry relevant skill training to candidates. The ministry organised an event, 'Bharat ke Kaushalzaade', to honour beneficiaries of the scheme in New Delhi today. Inaugurating the event, Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that problem of unemployment would not have acquired such a dimension if India had adopted the skilling mission soon after it got Independence. <br/>'<br/>The event was organised to mark the third anniversary of the scheme, which focusses on building capacity of rural youths to address the needs of domestic and global skills requirements.<br/><br/><br/><br/>
