Rabi crops have been sown in over five crore 19 lakh hectares till date which is more than 29 lakh hectares during the corresponding period last year. Data released by the Agriculture Ministry said, wheat has been sown in over two crore 56 lakh hectare which is about 17 lakh hectare more than last year. <br/><br/>Over one crore 31 lakh hectare area has been covered under the cultivation of pulses which is around 14 lakh hectare more under the crop last year. The coarse cereals have been sown in over 48 lakh hectare, Oilseeds in 74 lakh hectare.
