He said that the percentage of operative Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana accounts has increased after the awareness initiatives taken by banks for target audiences like farmers, small entrepreneurs, self-help groups, and senior citizens including women. RBI has also conducted camps to the awareness about banking habits including the benefits of keeping the accounts alive.</span><br />
