Karnataka Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K Sudhakar has tweeted that over four lakh nine thousand healthcare workers and 86,798 frontline workers have been administered the first dose of Covid vaccine across the state. The 50 percent of healthcare workers and 30 percent of frontline workers were vaccinated till now. The minister has said that the second dose of vaccination has begun today. The Covid pandemic is showing a declining trend in Karnataka.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">On Sunday 414 new Covid cases and two deaths due to viral infection were reported in the state. The positivity rate remains at 0.68 percent and mortality rate is at 0.48 percent. The state health department has conducted over one crore 79 lakh 56 thousand RTPCR and Rapid antigen tests to detect the Covid virus.</span><br />
