In Rajasthan polling is continuing for 5 Loksabha seats Alwar,Dausa,Bharatpur,Tonk-Sawai-Madhopur and Karoli-Dholpur constituencies of second phase amid tight security arrangements.
Over 40 per cent polling has been reported with maximum of over 44 per cent in Alwar constituency. Our correspondent reports that polling is continuing peacefully. Despite of heat people are continuously coming at polling booths and at many places they are waiting in ques.
Due to deployment of heavy police force no major untoward incident has reported so far from all 5 constituencies. In Bhandiyawas village of Dausa district 3 persons were injured in a clash between two groups but polling was not affected.
In many villages of Dausa and Alwar many voters casted their votes for the time due to proper security arrangements.
Speed of polling is slow and it is assumed that it will increase after noon. At 3 places in Dausa EVMs have been replaced due to technical problems
