Brisk polling is reported in all the six Parliamentary constituencies in Bihar where polling is now on. Till one p.m. 38.5 percent polling was recorded in these constituencies.

The highest 47.8 percent polling has been reconded from Gaya and the lowest 33 percent in Nawada Lok Sabha seat.

Polling in 20 booths in Jamui Parliamentary constituency and two in Nawada seat was cancelled for today as polling parties could not reach their destinations because of the fear of landmines by Maoists.

Fresh date of polling will be announced for these polling stations. Two CRPF personnel were killed and 4 others injured in a landmine blast triggered by Maoists at Gangta Jungel under Kharagpur Police Station area of Munger district early this morning.
