Over 3,79,000 J&K residents evacuated so far through fleet of buses and COVID special trains

<span style="color: #222222;">Following the evacuation process of J&K residents, stranded in other parts of the country due to COVID lockdown, the UT Government has so far evacuated 3,79,826 J&K residents via Lakhanpur through a fleet of buses and through COVID special trains amid strict observance of all necessary guidelines and SOPs. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports that the UT administration has received 132 special trains at Jammu and Udhampur railway stations from different States and UTs with about 1,14,910 passengers while 2,64,916 persons from other States and UTs including 932 from abroad have been evacuated via road through Lakhanpur till date. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Besides, about 3,121 stranded passengers including 03 from Dubai have entered the UT through Lakhanpur via road during the last 24 hours, while 974 passengers have reached Jammu today in 111th Delhi COVID special train from Delhi. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">So far, 111 trains reached Jammu with 99,214 stranded passengers while 15,696 passengers reached Udhampur in 21 special trains, belonging to different districts of the UT.</span><br />''
