Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has said that in Marathwada, over 34 lakh hectares of crops have been damaged due to heavy rains and as per the norms of Central Disaster Relief Fund, the loss is Rs 4,000 crore. While talking to reporters in Aurangabad yesterday he clarified that the state government would help the farmers in this difficult situation as early as possible.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He also said that each district administration has been directed to immediately complete the remaining panchnama of the loss in the district and submit a proposal for help. Mr. Pawar took stock of the damage caused by heavy rains in all the districts of Marathwada yesterday. He informed that the review will be presented to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray tomorrow, after which a decision on assistance will be taken at his level. </span><br />
