In Assam, over 33 thousand ASHA workers have rendered various healthcare services to the rural population in the state during Covid 19 pandemic.&nbsp; Senior Health officials in Guwahati said that ASHAs are doing house to house visits to make people aware about health, hygiene and social distancing. They are engaged in counseling COVID patients in home isolation.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;ASHAs are also extending support to pregnant women during their visits to the hospitals. Health officials also said that ASHAs are also instrumental in the vaccination drive.</span><br />
