Over 32 percent voting has been reported upto 12 noon in Bihar, where polling is underway in Seven Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies.
Our correspondent reports that apart from a few cases of delay of voting at some places due to EVM fault, no untoward incident has been reported so far.
Foolproof security arrangements have been made for polling. Voting will continue up to 6 PM, but in three Assembly segments Simri Bhaktiyarpur and Alloli in Khagaria and Mahishi assembly segment in Madhepura parliamentary constituency voting will end at 4 PM.
94 candidates including 5 women are in fray. Prominent among them are JD(U) National President Sharad Yadav, BJP leader Kirti Azad, RJD leader Pappu Yadav and Ramvilas Paswan's brother Ram Chandra Paswan.
Over 1.13 crore voters are expected to exercise their franchise. They include approx 4 lakh are first time voters.
