Over 30,000 first-time voters will participate in forthcoming Nagaland elections: CEC, Rajiv Kumar

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Chief Election Commissioner, CEC, Rajiv Kumar on Saturday said Election Commission of India, ECI is committed to conducting the upcoming State Assembly elections in a free, fair, peaceful, and inducement-free manner. </span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;"><br />''</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">He also urged the people of Nagaland to proactively participate in the forthcoming state election. Addressing a Press Conference on Review of Poll Preparedness for Forthcoming Assembly Elections in Nagaland at Kohima this evening, Kumar said, over 30,000 first-time voters will participate in the forthcoming elections. He said, so far over 13.09 lakh electors are registered in the state, which include 6.53 lakh male voters and  6.56 lakh female voters. In addition, the state has 36,403 voters who are 80 years and above and 1675  are 100 year voters. To this, Kumar said, the Commission has written to each of senior citizens voters, conveying gratitude to them.</span></p>
