Over 250 passengers bound for Lakshadweep, remain stranded at Kochi and Mangalore ports following a strike by members of the Lakshadweep Seamen Association. The strike is in protest against the alleged inaction by the Lakshadweep authorities following the death of a crew member of MV Amindivi on Saturday. Lakshadweep Administration sources in Kochi said Passengers of MV Amindivi, Bharatseema in Kochi and MV Deep Sethu have been stranded following the strike. Meanwhile, talks are taking place at Kavarathi to end the strike.
