In Jammu & Kashmir, five terrorists were today killed in two encounters with security forces in Budgam and Baramulla districts. <br/><br/>Four terrorists were killed in a fierce gunfight at Futlipora Pakherpora early morning today in central Kashmir's Budgam district.<br/><br/>In another encounter at Sagipora forest area in north Kashmir's Sopore in Baramulla district, security forces shot dead a terrorist. <br/><br/>An army man was also injured during anti-militancy operation in the area. <br/><br/>A police official said the operation was still underway when reports last came in. Security sources told AIR that the identity and group affiliation of five slain terrorists is being ascertained.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, State Police Chief S P Vaid tweeted that for the first time in seven years, the number of terrorists killed in counter-insurgency operations in a year in Jammu and Kashmir has crossed 200.
