Over 200 Shiv Sena activist arrested for vandalising theaters in Mumbai

Over 200 Shiv Sena activists some of them office bearers were arrested on Tuesday for demonstrating and damaging cinema screens across the Mumbai. They were protesting against Shah Rukh Khan an his forthcoming film, My Name is Khan, as he refused to apologise for his IPL remarks.<br/><br/>Additional Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumar said that most of those arrested have been booked for rioting, unlawful assembly and criminal intimidation.<br/><br/>Sena mob yesterday attacked and damaged the booking windows of Mehul theatre in Muland and staged noisy protests outside Sheryas theatre in Ghatkopar, both in suburbs.<br/><br/>A group of sena activists were also seen protesting and shouting slogans in Kanjur Marg, Khar, Bandra and other parts of the city even as police promised tough measures to prevent any untoward incident during the release of the film.
