Over 2.5 lakh people recover from COVID-19 in last 24 hrs

<span style="color: #222222;">Amidst the second wave of Covid-19, the country today witnessed some respite from a record number of new COVID-19 cases.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Health Ministry said, over 3.23 lakh fresh cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours which is around 30 thousand less than the cases reported yesterday.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">However, the active caseloads in the several States and Union Territories are still rising.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">As a result, the recovery rate is continuously declining in the country.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry has informed, at present, there are over 28.88 lakh active cases in the country which comprises 16.34 per cent of the total positive cases.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The recovery rate has further declined to 82.53 per cent.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry informed that more than 2.51 lakh people have recovered from the corona virus infection in the last 24 hours.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">So far, more than one crore 45 lakh patients have recovered from this infectious disease in the country.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Health Ministry has said, over 2700 deaths have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 1. 97 lakh across the country. </span><br />''  <br />
