Rice procurement in the Kharif Marketing season 2011-12 has crossed more than 164 lakh tonne.According to statistics over 164,84,195 crore tonne rice has been procured by the various government agencies as on Monday.Punjab has led the States by procuring followed by Chhatisgarh, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
