<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, National flags of over 16 crore rupees have been sold so far in the state in the run-up to the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. Panchayat and Rural Development minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass told AIR that so far 53 lakh tricolors have been sold. Mr. Dass said that Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission has sold 33 lakh tricolors through the self help groups and another 20 lakh flags have been sold through fair price shops.<br />''<br />''The minister mentioned that various awareness programs, rallies are being organized across the state to make the Har Ghar Tiranga program a grand success. Our Correspondent reports that the Assam government has also placed a requirement for another 50 lakhs flags to the Ministry of Culture, and till date, over 39 lakh flags have been received.</span><br />
