Over 16.7 Cr beneficiaries administered Covid19 vaccine doses in India so far

<span style="color: #222222;">India has administered over 16 crore 71 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine in the country so far. These include over 95 lakh 19 thousand Healthcare Workers who have taken the 1st dose and more than 64 lakh Health care workers who have taken the 2nd dose, over one crore 38 lakh Frontline Workers have taken the 1st dose and more than 76 lakh front line workers have taken the 2nd dose. India had launched the world's largest Vaccination Drive on 16th January this year. The Union Health Ministry has said that more than 21 lakh 27 thousand beneficiaries were inoculated with Covid-19 caccine doses till 8 PM today. Out of which around more than nine lakh 14 thousand beneficiaries were vaccinated for 1st dose and more than 12 lakh beneficiaries received 2nd dose of the vaccine.The Ministry said, two lakh 96 thousand 289 beneficiaries of the age group 18 to 44 years received their first dose of COVID vaccine today and cumulatively over 14 lakh 78 thousand across 30 States and Union Territories. The Liberalised and Accelerated Phase-3 Strategy of Covid-19 Vaccination has come into force from 1st of this month.</span>
