<span style="color: #222222;">Over 13 lakh households will be given water tap connections this year under the Jal Jeevan Mission in Assam. Talking to AIR, the Chief Engineer (Water) of Public Health Engineering Department Manin Das said that a total of 63 lakh households will be covered under the Mission in the state. He said, priority has been given to cover Japanese Encephalitis-affected districts and Aspirational districts.<br />'' <br />'' He said that there are 10 districts affected by JE and aquate JE while seven districts are categorized under Aspirational districts. Mr. Das said that so far around 90 thousand households have got functional tape connection. He further said that Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal held a review meeting yesterday and emphasized to carry out the works in a swift manner.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
