A total of one thousand and sixty two Yatris in 18 batches will travel through Lipulekh Pass for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra this year. Another 392 yatris in 8 batches will take the motorable road through Nathu La Pass. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today selected 1454 applicants for the Yatra by computerised draw in New Delhi. A total of 4442 applicants had applied for it.<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Swaraj said a large number of applications were received for the Yatra. She said government is committed to ensure smooth Yatra for the pilgrims.
