Over 1000 oxygen plants, pressure swing adsorption, PSA are operational under the PM CARES fund. The Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary Durga Shanker Mishra has said that out of the 1,224 PSA oxygen plants sanctioned by the Centre, 1183 are currently operational. He said, the work on the remaining plants will be completed by the end of this month.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">The Ministry said, the works on the Oxygen plants have been completed in 22 states, while more than 90 per cent of the works has been completed in remaining nine states. Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry said around 1,200 crore rupees have been spent on installation of these plants. The aim of establishing Oxygen Generation Plants at Government hospitals in the district headquarters is to further strengthen the public health system and ensure that each of these hospitals has a captive oxygen generation facility.</span><br />
