Over one thousand Indian peacekeepers serving with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) were awarded United Nations medals for their exceptional service. In a tweet, UNMISS said, 1,171 Indians have received UN medals for their vital work in Upper Nile, South Sudan.
