Oveesa Iqbal has become the first Muslim girl from Jammu and Kashmir to pass IAS exam. She hails from a far flung area of Chachoot in Leh. A chemical engineer by profession, she is one of the six candidates, who qualified from the state. Oveesa passed the prestigious examination without taking any coaching.
