US Ambassador to India Nancy Powell has lauded Maharashtra for its industrial development initiatives, especially the Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor. During a meeting with Maharashtra ChiefMinister Prithviraj Chavan in Mumbai on Tuesday, the outgoing US envoy appreciated the cooperation extended by the state government to the various initiatives of the US consulate. She also discussed issues like the ongoing Lok Sabha polls, post-poll ties between India and the US.
