Our way of life is being challenged by redical Islam and extremists: Isreal PM Netanyahu

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu today said our way of life is being challenged by redical Islam and extremists from a variety of sources. Speaking at the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi this evening, he said that one of the ways to overcome such a challenge is to strengthen relationship between two great democracies – India and Israel in every area. <br/><br/>Mr. Netanyahu said both the nations have special commitment to democracy and it binds them. He said, defence costs a great deal of money as does education and infrastructure. <br/>'<br/>The visiting dignitary asserted that Israel has been able to maintain peace in the region by being strong. He said, Israel is strengthening its military, economic and political power and has achieved a transition to a more liberal economy and is committed to this path. Mr. Netanyahu also said, if a nation wants to become an economic power, it must reduce and simplify taxes and cut red-tapism. He said, future belongs to those who innovate and both Israel and India are doing it. <br/>'<br/>In her remarks, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said Mr. Netanyahu's visit to India underlines celebration of 25 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. She said the relations of the two nations have come a long way.
