Osmania B Tech student commits suicide over 'Telengana'

In Andhra Pradesh, the funeral procession of Sai Kumar, the B Tech student, who committed suicide on Tuesday, has been taken out by Osmania University students late last night after obtaining permission from the state Human Rights Commission. <br/> <br/>The body of the B Tech second year student is being shifted to his native village in Nalgonda district Wednesday morning. He was purportedly committed suicide for the cause of separate Telangana state. <br/> <br/>Tension prevailed till last evening as the police resorted to mild lathicharge to disperse the students who were insisting on to take out a funeral procession to the Telangana memorial near the state Assembly to fulfill the last wish of the deceased student.<br/> <br/>Following the instructions from the State Human Rights Commission, police have allowed the procession with limited number of students accompanying. <br/> <br/>Meanwhile, Hyderabad based Osmania and Telugu Universities have postponed all its examinations scheduled on Wednesday. This is the 12th time that the Osmania University has postponed its examinations ever since the agitation for separate Telangana gained momentum in November last.<br/>
