Ex-servicemen who are protesting at Jantar mantar over the One Rank One Pension issue today claimed that they are not demanding monthly increments from the government. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi Capitan (Retd.) V K Gandhi said that wrong information is being spread to malign the image of soldiers. <br/><br/>He said that the ex-servicemen have only demanded periodic pension revision. He alleged that there have been no assurance form the government on OROP so far. <br/>Clearing their stand on OROP, he said the base year should be 31 March 2014 and implementation date of OROP 1st of April 2014. He also said pension equalizers should be done every year.
