The Orissa government has declared 15 of the 30 districts of the state as drought affected. The districts are Angul, Balasore, Bargarh, Boudh, Debagarh, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Puri, Sonepur, Sambalpur and Sundargarh. AIR correspondent reports that these districts have been declared drought affected on the basis of reports from district collectors.
