The Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. P.K. Bansal has said that the opposition demand for a probe by the JPC into corruption cases can not be accepted. Describing the demand for JPC as wrong, Mr Bansal said that the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), headed by the senior BJP leader, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi, has to see the CAG report on the 2G Spectrum before it is submitted to Parliament. Speaking to reporters outside Parliament, Mr Bansal said that the issue is also before the Supreme Court. He said the government is equally concerned about corruption, but there is a process for everything, after which the guilty can be brought to book.Holding BJP responsible for adjournments and disruptions in both the houses, Mr Bansal alleged that their conduct amounts to demeaning the Parliamentary decorum.
