<br/>BJP today welcomed the proposal of talks with the Naxals following a declaration by naxal leaders for a 72 day cease fire offer. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, BJP spokesperson Mr Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that there should not be any politics on Naxalism as it is a grave threat to nation’s internal security. Mr Rudy added that violence should be shunned by the Maoists before the talks begin. The CPI supported talks with the Maoists following declaration of a 72 day conditional cease fire offer made by the CPI Maoists. Talking to reporters out side Parliament Mr. D Raja said that both sides should not stick to any Conditions while holding the talks. He urged the centre to come out with a clear cut strategy on talks. Extending support to resumption of dialogue between India and Pakistan, Mr Raja said that India and Pakistan should join hands in the fight against terrorism.
