<br/>The Congress led opposition walked out of the Kerala Assembly protesting against the state government's alleged inaction to tackle the situation arising out of retirement of about twenty thousand teachers and government employees today. <br/><br/>Seeking permission for adjournment motion on the issue the opposition alleged that mass retirement, an unprecedented initiative of the ruling LDF Government, will lead to collapse of the administrative system. <br/><br/>Opposition leader Oommen Chandy blamed the government for not taking timely steps to fill up the vaccancies. The replies of the Finance Minister did not satisfy the opposition and they walked out in protest stating that House is being misled on the issue.<br/>
