The Opposition has termed the budget as disappointing and direction less. Senior Congress leader Ashok Chavan said the budget is unimpressive and it has nothing concrete for farmers and a common man. He alleged that the budget slogan Ease of living is nothing but mere a election sloganeering.<br/><br/>CPI(M) General secretary Sitaram Yechury alleged that the budget is unconnected to ground realities. He said the government's last budget is a textbook exercise in what he called post-truth. Mr Yechury said promises of increasing farmers' income has remained unfulfilled.<br/><br/>Trinamool Congress leader Dinesh Trivedi said the budget has nothing has new and it is a BJP's manifesto for 2022. He said the finance minister has only shown dreams for 2022. Mr Trivedi, a former Railway minister, said, the budget has nothing concrete for Railway.<br/>'<br/>Biju Janata Dal leader Bhartruhari Mahtab said attempt has been made to improve the conditions of youth and farmers but expressed concern that how much money will be given that matters.<br/>'<br/>Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav has termed the budget as disappointing saying there is nothing in the budget for the common man.<br/>
