Opposition stages walkout from LS against suspension of Cong MPs

Opposition parties including Samajwadi party, NCP and RJD today again staged a walkout from the Lok Sabha demanding revocation of suspension of Congress members. As soon as the House met for the day members of these parties raised the issue and shouted slogans. <br/><br/>But Speaker Sumitra Mahajan did not heed to their demand after which all the members staged a walkout. Congress members from both the Houses of Parliament staged a protest in front of Gandhi statue in Parliament premises for the second consecutive day today against the suspension of its 25 MPs from the Lok Sabha. <br/><br/>Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Vice President Rahul Gandhi and former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and top party leaders were present at the protest. MPs belonging to Janata Dal (United), Left Parties, Samajwadi Party and RJD also joined the protest.
