Opposition today staged a walkout from the J&K Legislative Council on the issue of the non-completion of hydel power projects in Chenab Valley and the rehabilitation of the affected people.<br/><br/>The members of the opposition National Conference and Congress raised the issue during the Question hour and demanding the setting up of a house committee in this regard.<br/> <br/><br/>However, the Chairman of the Upper House rejected the demand but he assured half an hour's discussion on the issue in the house. Despite several cautions from the Chairman, when the legislators continued making noise, the NC member Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo was marshalled out.<br/><br/>On this entire opposition staged a walkout from the house and remained out during the entire business of the day.
