Amid efforts by some opposition parties to put up a united front against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's demonetisation drive, the BJP today said that it would have been better if the opposition united to laud the Prime Minister for the bold move. <br/><br/>Speaking to media, BJP spokesperson Siddharth Nath Singh said, the party is least concerned whether they unite or not as the people of this country have united in supporting Prime Minister in the fight against black money. <br/><br/>He said, the party and the government are standing with the truth. He said, the historic decision taken by PM Modi is in nation's interest.<br/><br/>On West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reaching out to the Left and other parties to put up a united front against the government, Mr Singh said, Trinamool and Left parties are mirror images of each other. He said, fake currency and chit funds began during the left rule and TMC nurtured it. <br/><br/>He said, those are accused of Saradha and Narada are trying to unite Opposition against the government as they are shaken by this step of Mr Modi.<br/><br/> He said, Ms Banerjee should answer as to how guns were used in Dhaka bakery shootout were manufactured in Malda.
