Opposition members in the Rajya Sabha today questioned the government for introducing NOTA (None of the above) in the ballot papers for the elections to the Upper House from Gujarat. <br/><br/>Raising the issue, Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad asked why the same thing was not applicable in the recently-held Presidential election. Leader of the House Arun Jaitley clarified that since it is the decision of the Election Commission, it cannot be debated in the House. <br/><br/>He said, the members can take up the matter with the Election Commission or the Supreme Court. Earlier, Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari insisted that the members cannot raise the issue during question hour. Satish Mishra of BSP said, the notification issued in this regard is illegal. <br/><br/>Naresh Agrawal of Samajwadi Party said, it is being done intentionally. The opposition members trooped into the well repeatedly forcing the Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari till 2 PM.
