In Uttar Pradesh, all major opposition parties have welcomed the Allahabad High Court's decision to quash acquisition of nearly 589 hectares of land in Greater NOIDA area in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. State Congress President Rita Bahuguna Joshi has alleged that the BSP government fraudulently acquired the land from the farmers and sold it to builders.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the Allahabad High Court has quashed acquisition of 589 hectares of land in Patwari village in Greater NOIDA for residential purposes.
