Opposition parties say, they will hold a protest rally on the 20th of this month against the hike in diesel price and FDI in multi-brand retail.

In a joint statement, Samajwadi Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav along with leaders of Left parties, JD(S), BJD and TDP alleged that these measures will further burden the people.

BJP-led NDA has separately announced that it will hold a nation-wide strike on the same day.
