The Congress, TMC, RJD and JD(U) staged a walkout in the Lok Sabha in protest of the alleged derogatory remarks by a BJP member against some Congress leaders. During the question hour, Congress member Mallikarjun Kharge requested the Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to ask the BJP member Virendra Singh to seek apology for his remarks. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Rajiv Pratap Rudy said , the objectionable remarks were already expunged and any member cannot be forced for apology.
