Opposition parties demand removal of officers allegedly working as agents of ruling Party in UP

In Uttar Pradesh, all opposition parties, including Congress, Samajwadi Party, Bharatiya Janata Party, Rashtriya Lok Dal and left parties have demanded to the Election Commission for removal of officers who are allegedly working as agents of ruling Bahujan Samaj Party in order to ensure free and fair Assembly polls next year.AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that Chief Election Commissioner Dr. S Y Quraishi and Election Commissioners V S Sampath and H S Brahma met with delegations of all major political parties at Raj Bhawan on Wednesday evening. Most of the political parties have raised issue of faulty and incomplete voter's lists to the Commission.
