Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has said that misleading myths are being spread about the Farm Bills by certain vested interests who are trying to provoke the farmers for petty political gains.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''In a detailed interview to Doordarshan, Dr Jitendra Singh emphasised that the irony is that baseless rumours are being spread in the name of certain provisions that do not exist at all in the Bills passed by the Parliament.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''He said, the opposition is misleading the farmers that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) will be affected by the farm bills, whereas he affirmed that there is no reference to the MSP system in the bills.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Dr. Singh said, that none of the Bills indicate that the Mandis will end, which ensures that the market system will continue as before with added advantage of freedom to sell even outside the demarcated state Mandis.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Dr. Singh alleged that those who are opposing the Bills and provoking the farmers are actually trying to make it an issue for electoral considerations.</span><br />
