Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has described the Opposition parties' decision to boycott the proceedings in the Rajya Sabha for a day as unprecedented. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Mr Jaitley accused the Congress and other Opposition parties of trying to make a non-issue an issue. <br/><br/>The Opposition today boycotted the proceedings in the Upper House in the post-lunch session, alleging that their voices are being muzzled in Parliament. <br/><br/>Mr. Jaitley said it was an opportunity for discussing all political and economic issues in Parliament, but rules were violated and everyday, an effort was made to get the House adjourned. He also alleged that the Opposition does not want an organised discussion in the House.<br/> '<br/>Earlier in the day, Congress leader Anand Sharma alleged that Opposition MPs are not being allowed to speak in the House, which is un-democratic. He said they will also give it in writing to the Rajya Sabha Chairman.
